Charter renewed at NACOSH
Secretary of Labor Thomas E. Perez renewed the charter of the National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health and will remain in effect until Oct. 7, 2016. NACOSH advises, consults with and makes recommendations to the secretaries of labor and health and human services. NACOSH holds two to four meetings per year, which are open to the public.
Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health to meet December 2014
The OSHA Advisory Committee to meet December 3rd and 4th in Washington, DC. The meetings are open to the public. Comments and requests to speak may be submitted electronically at http://www.regulations.gov.
OSHA accepting nominations for 8 new members of the Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health
Nominees will be segmented into four categories.
- Employee representatives – 3 nominees
- Employer representatives – 3 nominees
- General public – 1 nominee
- State safety and health agency – 1 nominee
Nominations may be submitted at www.regulations.gov, the Federal eRulemaking Portal. Submissions may also be sent by mail or facsimile. See the Federal Register notice for details. The deadline for submissions is Jan. 2, 2015.
