  • OSHA releases mobile app for heat-related illness

    In order to address the frequency of heat-related illnesses and injuries common during the summertime, OSHA has recently released a mobile app that offers tips and advice to those at risk.   • OSHA Joins Forces with American Wind Energy Association

    As part of an effort to develop materials for employees in the wind energy industry, OSHA has teamed up with the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA). “These jobs are not necessarily safer for American workers,” says Dr. David Michaels, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health.   • OSHA Aims to Improve Whistleblower Program

    OSHA is implementing additional measures as an effort to improve their Whistleblower Protection program; a process that encourages workers to speak out about subpar safety practices that may put employees at risk. “OSHA is committed to correcting the issues brought to light by the GAO report and our own review,” says Dr. David Michaels.
