Using Conferences For Continuing Education

In Rob Cameron’s recent blog post in Scrubs Magazine, he mentions the advantages of attending a presentation for continuing education. Amongst the many benefits of attending a CEU-provided course includes:

  • Engaging content
  • Meet with others with similar occupations
  • Meet with others with similar specializations
  • Meet people from other locations – from local to global levels
  • Learn information that can help enhance your career
  • Gain new ideas for new programs
  • Opportunity to be inspired

InjuryFree recently presented a half day workshop at the AAOHN National Conference. Participants received continuing education credits, and were also given a workbook to assess risk in their facility. We are greatly appreciative to have connected with the participants, providing them with innovative thinking in the roles Bio-Physics, Ergonomics, Education and Awareness play in the workplace.

We look forward to future educational opportunities with various groups and occupations looking to enhance their careers.
